Terms and Conditions of the Caminito.cz Dance School

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern the contractual relationship between the dance school Caminito.cz – Radka Šulcová, Company ID No.: 01435256 (hereinafter referred to as “Caminito.cz” or the “Organizer”) and participants of courses, lessons, workshops, and other events organized by the Organizer (hereinafter referred to as the “Participant”).

By registering for a course, attending lessons, or participating in other events, you confirm that you agree to these Terms.

1. Validity of the Terms

The current version of the Terms is always published on the official website of the dance school. The Organizer reserves the right to amend or supplement the Terms at any time. For each specific course, however, the version of the Terms valid at the time of the Participant’s registration shall apply.

2. Registration and Formation of the Contractual Relationship

Registration for courses takes place via the registration system on the website www.caminito.cz.

By submitting the registration and its subsequent confirmation by Caminito.cz, a place in the course is reserved (including for a dance partner, if the Participant is registered as a couple). Together with the registration confirmation, the Participant will receive payment details and the due date for the course fee by email.

The contractual relationship between the Participant and Caminito.cz is established at the moment the registration is confirmed and the “pay” button is clicked on the payment portal. From this moment, the Organizer undertakes to provide the Participant with a place in the course, and the Participant undertakes to pay the course fee in accordance with these Terms.

If the course fee is not paid by the due date, the Organizer is entitled to withdraw from the contract and cancel the Participant’s registration. The Participant will be informed of the cancellation by email.

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel a course (e.g. due to a pandemic, unforeseen circumstances, etc.) and to offer Participants a replacement, credit, or a refund of the course fee.

3. Course Fees, Payments, Discounts, and Cancellation Policy

Course Fees and Payment

Course fees are stated inclusive of VAT. Payment for the full course is made by bank transfer to the account specified in the payment details sent to the Participant.

In the case of attendance at a single lesson, payment may be made on site in cash or by immediate bank transfer.

The current course fees and any applicable discounts are always stated

  • in the price list on the Caminito.cz website,
  • in the registration form for the specific course,
  • in the payment details sent after registration confirmation.

The final amount payable is stated in the payment details.

Volume Discounts

Course fees may be reduced by a volume discount according to the current offer listed in the price list. Unless stated otherwise, volume discounts may be combined with other discounts.

A volume discount applies if the Participant has paid for multiple courses within one semester or pays for several courses simultaneously. The discount always applies to the course that activates the entitlement to the volume discount.

If the registration for the course that activated the volume discount is cancelled, the entitlement to the discount lapses, and the Participant will be asked to pay the remaining course fees in full for the other courses.

Due Dates

If the registration is confirmed more than 4 days before the last day of registration for the course, the course fee is due within 3 days of the payment details being sent.

If the registration is confirmed 4 days or fewer before the last day of registration, the course fee is due no later than the next business day.

Participants are advised to pay the course fee without undue delay after receiving the payment details. The Participant may be reminded of the approaching due date by email.

Compensation for Missed Lessons

Missed lessons from a prepaid course may only be compensated within the same semester, by attending another ongoing course, practica, or Open Class according to the current offer published on the website.

Cancellation Policy

If participation is cancelled more than 7 days before the start of the course, a cancellation fee of CZK 200 will be charged. This amount will be deducted from the refunded course fee.

Alternatively, the full amount paid may be transferred to the Participant’s credit for future courses, lessons, or workshops; in this case, no cancellation fee is charged.

If participation is cancelled 7 days or fewer before the start of the course, the cancellation fee amounts to 50% of the course fee. In this case as well, the full amount may be transferred to credit for future use.

In the event of cancellation due to serious health reasons (e.g. injury), a proportional part of the course fee may be transferred to credit upon individual agreement.

If a course is cancelled by the Organizer, the Participant is entitled to a full refund of 100% of the amount paid, an offer of an adequate replacement, or a credit of the full amount.

Non-attendance at individual lessons does not entitle the Participant to a partial refund of the course fee. Lessons may be made up in other courses during the relevant period.

The Organizer reserves the right to change the schedule, instructors, or venue for operational or organizational reasons. Such changes do not give rise to a right to a refund of the course fee.

Transfers Between Courses

A transfer to another course is possible free of charge upon prior agreement with the instructor and the Organizer, provided that the capacity of the course allows it.

4. Participation Rules and Safety

Participants are required to behave politely and considerately during lessons and events and to follow the instructions of the instructors.

Participation in lessons and events is at the Participant’s own risk. The Organizer is not liable for injuries or health issues incurred by Participants during the events.

Participants are responsible for any damage they cause to the Organizer’s property, the venue, or third parties.
In the event premises:

  • smoking is prohibited,
  • entry to all halls is allowed only with a change of footwear; on the dance floor, dance shoes or other shoes with clean soles must be used,
  • outerwear must be stored in cloakrooms or designated areas for safety reasons. Only personal and valuable items may be taken into the hall.

Serious or repeated violations of these rules may result in exclusion from the course without any right to compensation.

5. Personal Data Protection and Audiovisual Recordings

The processing of personal data is governed by a separate document, the Privacy Policy, available on the Caminito.Cz website.

Lessons and social events may take place in public spaces where photographs and audiovisual recordings may be taken for the purpose of documenting and promoting Caminito.cz activities. If a Participant does not agree to such recordings, they may contact the Organizer in advance at info@caminito.cz.

Both the Organizer and Participants strive to create a safe, respectful, and pleasant environment for everyone.

6. Final Provisions

These Terms and Conditions are valid from 1 January 2026.
