Introduction

Below are the rules that apply both to us, the teachers at Caminito.Cz, and you, participants in the Argentine tango courses organised by Caminito.Cz. These rules are based on many years experience in organising tango lessons and are in fact a summary of the way our courses work.

Participation on course

a) registration
You can register for a course only by using the interactive form on the web page of Caminito.Cz. After filling in the electronic form and sending it via our webpage, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing detailed information (time and venue, payment methods, etc.).
As tango is a couple dance, in the case of exceeded capacity the couples' registration is of higher precedence than those of the singles.
You can join a course that has already started after consulting the course teacher, provided that the course is not fully booked.

b) making up for missed classes
If you have paid for the entire course, you can make up any class you have missed by joining an alternative class of any other parallel course or practica (a practise session) organised by Caminito.Cz. Please note that missed classes may only be replaced within the term when your course runs. No classes may be made up after the end of the term.
The option to make up missed classes does not apply if you pay for individual classes.

c) course venue
Classes are held in dance studios as specified in the schedule for the relevant term (usually autumn, winter or spring trimester) posted on Caminito.Cz webpage. If the time or venue of your class changes, e.g. for technical reasons, the teacher will inform all course participants by phone (or a text message) or via e-mail using the phone number or e-mail address they had provided in their e-registration forms. A participant who has not provided a contact phone number or e-mail address cannot, naturally, be informed of any changes and, therefore, will not be entitled to make up a missed class.

d) teachers
All courses are taught by two teachers. If a teacher is off sick, s/he will be substituted by a colleague.

e) other
Classes are taught in Czech but all our teachers speak other languages too (mostly English and Spanish).
Tango is a couple dance; however, the teachers of Caminito.Cz cannot accept the responsability for finding a dance partner for each course participant.

Refund and cancellation policy

a) cancellation
Cancellation made more than a week before course commencement: no cancellation fee.
Cancellation made less than a week before course commencement: 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellation made after 2nd class of the course: 100% cancellation fee.

b) refunds
If you have paid for an entire course but are unable to attend the rest of your classes for medical reasons (and you provide relevant evidence), we will refund 100% of the relevant amount of the course fee corresponding to the classes missed.
No refunds will be made if your partner decides not to complete the course, or one of you is abroad for a longer time; however, your remaining classes can, under certain circumstances, be carried over to the following term.

Personal data protection

All personal data acquired from course participants are used exclusively for internal purposes of Caminito.Cz. All data are stored in an internal database and protected against misuse. Participants may ask for their data to be deleted from our database. No personal data are disclosed to third parties. All information on course participants is processed in accordance with applicable laws of the Czech Republic.
