Caminito.Cz® organizes various tango activities in the Czech Republic, especially in Prague.

Caminito v Buenos Aires (La Boca)

The activities of Caminito.Cz® are especially:

  • teaching the Argentine tango (regular courses, special classes, workshops with foreign lectors)
  • dance shows
  • choreography
  • organizing dance nights (milongas)
  • partners of the festival Tango Alchemie
  • promotion of tango concerts
  • organization or partnership of thematic programs and social events

What does caminito mean?

Caminito - La BocaCaminito in Spanish means "a small path". Caminito is also the name of a little street in Buenos Aires in the port La Boca where in the beginnings people danced tango, where the immigrants from Europe have started to draw their first dance figures into the earthen streets and paths. Thirdly, it is also a famous tango (music: Juan de Dios Filiberto, lyrics: Gabino Coria Peñaloza).

The name of our tango school is based on this analogy: it is the first place in Prague where the tango has been taught and danced. With us you can walk down the little street called TANGO.
